The Nordica Enforcer 94 was chosen because of reviews stating its stability at speed and versatility on the mountain.
I am a physically fit, active 67 year-old, 5’10”, 170 pounds intermediate skier who loves carving groomers but enjoys varied terrain and some deep powder occasionally.
The enforcer is a bit stiff which makes it the most stable at speed and with ability to handle crud of any ski I’ve skied. I will echo what others have noted; it can be a little bit of a bronco if one doesn’t stay on top of it and push it, which, in my opinion is the sweet spot of this ski. The side cut is a nice balance for those that want to rip some tight curves but still have stability when sending it. That said, it’s not as tightly turning as a slalom ski and, because it is a bit heavy, the swing weight limits “playfulness” on cords and especially on bumpy slopes. At only 94 under foot, it does not shine in deep powder.
For my preferences, it is the best single quiver ski I’ve used. Add a serious fat boy for the deep pow days and you’re set!
