These skis held up well in most East Coast conditions. I had a Vermont ski day where just about every type of surface you can imagine was present. From a few inches of powder, to refrozen chopped up terrible trails. Really didn't have any problems with these in any of those conditions. They held a pretty good Edge on the firm stuff. They're pretty easy to turn. I wouldn't say that they're necessarily quick from edge to edge, however I wouldn't say I struggled in some of the tighter situations I was in. I've been on dozens of skis over the last few years, and I really do think these are the one of the most well-rounded. When you're carving they feel more narrow than a 98, and I would say they float appropriately for their waist width. Really no complaints. Full disclosure, I have not taken them out in my favorite type of terrain which is tight trees and bumps.. I would suspect they would do fine, I really wouldn't use this ski for that purpose. I have other skis for those days. ( keep in mind I'm a fairly strong and advanced male skier... I'm not sure if a 110 lb female would have the exact same experience)
