2024 Armada ARV 106 Mens

The ARV was not the ski I thought I was going to walk out with! While a long time Armada fan (I have a pair of Norwalks and JJs, both 115 waist) I wanted a more forgiving daily that could still handle high speeds as well as the frequent variable moonscape/powder stashes that Loveland is known for. The other skis on my list didn't look to be in great shape when seen in person and the ARVs where looking brand new. I took a gamble on 'park' ski and worried about stability and power but the '24 ARV (which is much stiffer the the previous as well as the current ARV) and I instantly got along. I don't ride park but this ski is just fun! Super happy to snag a pair of these!

These skis handle a variety of conditions well, particularly choppy powder. Turning is a breeze. If you ski primarily groomers, there are probably other skis better suited for that. But for a one-ski quiver, particularly here in the Pacific Northwest, these are fantastic. Big thanks to the Powder 7 staff for recommending this ski for my style of skiing (advanced) and for where I ski.
